We had no idea where to start (we wanted to do a loft conversion on our bungalow involving removing the roof as the pitch was too low) so as soon as we met them, they eased our concerns and guided us each step of the way. They listened to our ideas and created a design that met & exceeded our needs as well as giving us the best chance of obtaining planning permission, which is tough in our area. We also didn’t have to worry that the plans would have to change at building regulations stage as they made sure everything complied from the beginning. Through the building regulations stage they recommended a range of builders, structural engineer etc and helped us with the full tender process to select the right ones for us. Their drawings were very professional but also easy to understand with nice details thought of, such as providing a scaled ruler so we could start measuring for furniture etc. These guys really do go above and beyond to transform what was just an idea/pipe dream into reality with no pain along the way! “Based on a couple of recommendations from friends, we asked JB Architecture to work on our home extension project. We’d never done anything like this before so didn’t know what to expect, but they made the process seem easy. Jimmy and Sean were both so easy to talk to and made us feel relaxed each time they came to our house. Jimmy listened to our ideas and made suggestions during his initial no obligation visit, and even took the time to involve our children and answer all their questions as well as ours. During their second visit, they photographed and took measurements to draw up an existing plan. We had an idea of what we thought was possible to include in our home, but were amazed to see what they had included when the initial design was ready. This meant we ended up with a utility room and office which we didn’t think there was space for. They took on our feedback to develop exactly what we wanted and responded quickly to our emails to discuss details. After agreeing to proceed, the detailed plan was developed and they submitted this for planning approval on our behalf, so we didn’t have to worry about how to do this. Once approved, they also provided us with recommendations for some local builders and were available during the build to discuss a couple of points with the builder.
