WATERLOOVILLE, WHOLE HOUSE RENOVATION, FIRST FLOOR EXTENSION SITE VISIT PICTURES

Waterlooville whole house renovation, first-floor extension, and landscaping project is now well underway.

One of our largest projects onsite with the removal of every internal wall and existing loft conversion allowing for a revised ground floor and first floor extension to be constructed.

Consisting of a large open-plan kitchen/dining and assisted living spaces at ground floor level our clients now have a lifetime home that meets their needs moving forward. At the first-floor level, additional bedrooms, bathrooms, and home office space have been formed allowing for a complete transformation of the existing property.

A very complex project in which JB Architecture was tasked with designing the proposed extension around a main surface water drainage pipe running along the boundary of the site.

The scope of work included working with the existing ground floor structure and closely with a structural engineer to design a cantilevered extension structure along the boundary in accordance with Southern Water build-over requirements.

With the installation of a large timber frame first-floor extension, JB Architecture was able to offer the clients a lightweight structure allowing for the cantilever to work and also the required habitable spaces.

JB Architecture was appointed to obtain both the Planning and Building Regulation approvals for this extension project.

NYEWOOD, GROUND & FIRST FLOOR EXTENSION PROJECT, COMPLETION PHOTOS

Nyewood single-storey and part-two-storey side extension along with internal renovation project now complete.

Consisting of a large open-plan kitchen/dining space and a garden room this extension has completely transformed how the ground floor space is used.

A very complex project in which JB Architecture Design Ltd was tasked with designing the proposed extension over a drainage pipe running across the site.

The drainage pipe was extremely important due to being the end of the drainage run and connecting with a pumping station situated just outside the boundary of the site.

Working alongside Southern Water and the project structural engineer JB Architecture Design Ltd was able to design a cantilevered/bridged structure that allowed our clients to infill this area of their garden.

Alongside the drainage works, there were also ecology matters to address allowing the renovation works to be completed around the roosting cycle of bats identified onsite.

The open plan extension area allows our clients to take in the views from their stunning landscaped garden area with an increased master bedroom and ensuite at the first-floor level.

Emsworth whole house renovation project is now complete.

One of our largest renovation projects that JB Architecture Design Ltd has undertaken.

Works consisted of side and rear single-storey extensions along with a loft conversion and full renovation throughout the existing property.

Working with the structural engineer’s JB Architecture was able to design a lightweight structure that could be hidden within ceiling and wall constructions. This allowed for no bulkheads throughout which maximises the amount of natural light entering through the large sliding doors, skylights, and lanterns.

With stunning views out to the sea at first and loft level, this project is sure to stand out from your standard renovation project.

Petersfield single-storey rear extension along with internal renovation project now complete.

Consisting of a large open-plan kitchen/dining space and a garden room this extension has completely transformed how the ground floor space is used.

Replacing an existing conservatory area this parapet wall extension has brightened up the rear of the property due to the installation of 2 x large roof lanterns. Along with the installation of 2 x crittall style French door installations, this extension has given our clients the perfect space to entertain and relax with family and friends.

DENMEAD, WHOLE HOUSE RENOVATION, SITE VISIT PICTURES

Denmead single-storey extension, creation of a first-floor level (property formally a bungalow) and whole house renovation project is well underway onsite.

One of our largest projects currently on site the primary goal for this project was to allow access to the proposed first-floor areas for a disabled family member.

This project will boast large open-plan areas and also a lift installation allowing a smooth transition between areas for wheelchair users.

With the removal of pretty much all existing structural walls, JB Architecture was able to work alongside the project structural engineer to maximise standard steel sizes and savings for our clients.

JB Architecture was appointed in order to gain both planning and building regulation approvals.

This will not be the last time you see us sharing this project as it’s going to be a stunning renovation project once completed.

JB Architecture Design Ltd was aided by the client (a qualified structural engineer) to design a piled extension area off of the existing piled house.

This allowed for the lower ground floor section of the building to be better utilised by our clients allowing for the kitchen area to be relocated to the lower ground floor area of the property.

Along with the landscaped garden area, our clients have transformed this property, allowing for additional family space to be created within.

The extension area also utilises and maximizes the amount of natural light entering via the installation of skylights within the kitchen area and the bi-folding doors.

EAST WITTERING NEW BUILD, 3D VISUALISATION WORKS

We wanted to share some of our 3D visualisations from Autodesk Revit of a potential new build in East Wittering.

Both Jimmy & Liam have been hard at work bringing our client's brief to life with these amazing images.

EAST WITTERING, NEW BUILD, COMPLETION PHOTOS

East Wittering new build project is now complete.

With the demolition of an existing bungalow structure (including the relocation of old train carriages used for the existing house structure), the site has now been completely transformed.

With the inclusion of engineered joists ts at first-floor level we were able to hide many service runs and large sections steelwork throughout allowing for greater amounts of open-plan habitable space.

JB Architecture was appointed to complete the necessary detailing works for the building regulations application whilst also working alongside the client to clear planning conditions from the planning approval.

With an open plan kitchen dining area looking out onto a landscaped garden and the sea this project gives our clients the perfect area to entertain family and friends.
